Parents and friends gathered at the White Hart, Lydgate on Saturday 21st April for Diggle School’s annual April Ball.
More than 110 people attended the fundraising event organised by Diggle School’s Parents and Teachers Association. Guests were treated to a lavish four course meal followed by dancing and live music from local band Decoy.
The event was organised by PTA members Claire Butterworth and Anna Barnes. Claire said, “It was a fantastic social event and everyone had a great time. On the night we managed to raise £900 and overall we raised £1800. The money will be used by the school to buy much needed technology equipment.”
