Walkers are invited to explore the Castleshaw Reservoirs and South Pennines moorland during a seven-mile free guided walk this weekend.

Organised by rural regeneration organisation, Pennine Prospects, through the Watershed Landscape Project, the walk will start at noon on Sunday, March 4. It will be a varied walk offering reservoir scenery and upland trails, including the Pennine Way path along Standedge.

To take part meet the walk guide, Mike Lee, at the car park next to the Castleshaw Field Centre, Waterworks Road, off the A62, one mile north of Delph.

Walkers are reminded to wear suitable warm and waterproof clothing and walking boots. Unfortunately dogs, except guide and hearing dogs, are not permitted on the walk.
