Last night thieves broke into Diggle Chip Shop on Huddersfield Road, Diggle, stealing an Oldham Mountain Rescue charity box and a small amount of stock .
Police would like anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious to contact them on 101.
Well all I can say, I hope they need Oldham Mountain Rescue and they cannot be rescued because people like them have robbed them of their funds. As far as the chippy is concerned we go there regular and they work really hard serve lovely food and are really pleasant. Why dont the scumbags who have done this robbery get off their backsides and do voluntary work for charities or better still get a job and stop taking other peoples hard earned cash and property.
