Diggle Primary School organised a spectacular firework display following their annual bonfire disco at the School on Friday evening.
The event saw a huge turnout of 200 pupils and parents despite the wet conditions. One of the organisers Jo Taylor said, ’Even though it has rained we have had a great time and the fireworks were fantastic.’
Jo went on to say, ‘The success of the evening is due to the hard work and efforts of the PTA.’
The event raised £465.00. The Diggle Parents and Teachers Association hold several events throughout the year to help raise funds for the school and its pupils.
