Following public consultation Oldham Council is proposing new road markings for Diggle. They are proposing to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend the Oldham-Saddleworth Area Consolidation Order 2003. Roads that will be affected in Diggle include parts of Huddersfield Road, Standedge Road, Sam Road, Ward Lane, Spurn Lane and Heather Way.

Any objections or representations regarding the proposals should be sent to the Environmental Group Solicitor to the Council, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL in writing, stating the title of the Order to which they relate and the grounds for making them by 5th December 2011.
