Jackie Barrow, a local Diggle resident is organising a charity curry night to raise money Khelghar Palakneeti, a Charity run after school provision for the children of Lakshminagar slum of Pune (formerly Pooona), India.
Subsequently the BBC’s One Show proposed a trip to Pune to meet and film Jackie with children.
The Charity Curry Night at Saddleworth Museum Gallery on Friday 1st February, 7:30pm aims to raise money to buy at least one additional computer form the use of the children of Khelghar.
